Mélange en Cuivre

An artistic interplay of creams and whites work adeptly to, first, conceal and, then, reveal subtle earthy hues of mauve and marsala, accented by highlights of metallic copper ("cuivre" in French), making this piece aptly named, "Mélange en Cuivre."  Brush strokes are actually strokes made by a putty knife -- the hallmark technique of BWPryor's "Mélange" series in which the artist delights in the three-dimensional, almost sculptural, effect that this type of building construction tool imbues to the work.  Your living or work space will enjoy a quiet neutrality with this abstract composition as its backdrop.
